This is a cowboy. Sort of. He's built from patches of cobalt, yellow, red, pink, and black — more feeling than figure, but you know exactly who he is. Original acrylic on paper, 11x14 inches. The brushwork is loose and direct, the colors are loud in the best way, and the whole thing has a kind of quiet swagger that works well in a living room, hallway, bedroom, or anywhere that could use a little character on the wall.
